Our intimate salon at ROW DTLA is designed to give you space to slow down, settle in, and enjoy the experience. Thoughtful playlists, comfortable chairs, a glass of wine, and appointments that never feel rushed are all part of creating a visit that feels as considered as the finished nails.

A Journey of Art, Healing, and Female Empowerment

From Canvas to Fingertips

I’ve loved making things for as long as I can remember. As a child, I filled sketchbooks with drawings and imagined creating art that could become part of everyday life. Years later, I found that connection through nails: tiny canvases where creativity, self-expression, and human connection could all exist at once.

Powder became even more meaningful after I lost my mum. She taught me so much about strength, kindness, and the quiet ways we care for one another. In grief, I found myself wanting to build something that carried those values forward. A place where beauty could be more than surface-level, and where people could come to feel cared for, seen, and a little more restored when they left.

Powder is my way of bringing those pieces together: art, care, connection, and the belief that beauty can hold meaning.
